Sarah, You’re the Queen of My Heart

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has launched a political action committee—finally. Even her former running mate, Sen. John McCain, beat her to the punch.

SarahPAC believes energy independence is a cornerstone of the economic security and progress that every American family wants and deserves … SarahPAC believes the Republican Party is at the threshold of an historic renaissance that will build a better future for all. Health care, education, and reform of government are among our key goals.

All this, and poking community organizers with sharp sticks!

Seriously, though, I could use some more specifics. Mike Huckabee’s PAC has been fairly successful at targeting low-level races where small cash infusions can make a difference. Mitt Romney’s PAC has been good at … well, I dunno. But it sells a lot of Mitt-branded fleeces!

Is Palin’s PAC going to have a focus, or is it part of a ploy to get people like me to write about her again?

I guess that she missed being out of news for 48 hours. If she gets the GOP nomination, Obama will be a shoe for reelection.

Palin is clearly going for the brass ring and ain't gonna stop even at being an Alaskan senator, which is likely her next post. Ol' Sarah (SarahSixPack.com) is being pushed to higher office by a powerful group of conservatives from around the nation. Remember that it was William Kristol (who quit/was fired from the NY Times op ed page today) who “discovered” Palin and became her biggest booster to McCain and beyond.

Yup, I'm sure Sarah Palin is waiting up at nights, worrying about what leftwing reporter David Weigel is going to right about her.

Hey Washington Independent, I thought you all brough Weigel on to give a little balance to your Far Left stance. He's just another typical Sarah Palin basher. Where's the balance?

Yeah, I'm sure Weigel is up at night wondering which commenters are going to learn to spell, much less what they are going to “right.”

Well then, you ought to be first in line to donate to her PAC. If she's going to be such a pushover, put your money where your sneer is.

It's all about following the leader, Mitt Romney. He was the first to create a PAC to help support republican candidates. Then, of course, Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin copy him.
MItt Romney was the only republican candidate who knew the mechanical workings of the economy and could speak with credibility on the subject. Mike and Sarah will just say whatever he says.
