Why would we want to pat a leader on the back for running away from an important issue. America deserves leaders who will stand up and debate issues and work across the aisle to come up with an energy policy that is not for one party but for all people regardless of the party one may belong. Pelosi is doing America great harm and she needs to step aside if she is afraid to debate issues. Yes, we got her back alright since that's all we see since she is always running away.

Finally Pelosi is learning: just don't allow things to come up for a vote. She could have and should have used the same strategy on a number of issues, especially the so-called FISA compromise. Now that she's found the fortitude to do it, it is our duty, those of us who see the lie that is the “drill here, drill now” campaign, to support her by telling her and, certainly, our congresspeople: Keep up the pressure. Don't back down. We'll support you in November. We've got your backs.
