<p>Now he&rsquo;s taking his I-used-to-be-a-Democrat routine to <a href="http://www.palmbeachpost.com/politics/content/south/epaper/2008/01/17/m1a_LIEBERMAN_0117.html">Florida</a> where he&rsquo;s trying to boost Jewish support for McCain.</p>

<p>Not surprisingly, the move isn&rsquo;t sitting well with some Jewish Democratic activists, who did their best in the long drama that was Florida 2000 to help the closest thing they&rsquo;d ever had to a favorite son. &quot;I think he stinks,&quot; a party activist told the <i>Palm Beach Post</i>.</p>
