The only environmental disaster we're headed for is too much regulation! CO2 and water vapor are not harmful or pollutents. The latter makes up most(99%)of your greenhouse gas. You exhale CO2 that is utilized by plants.Better yet lets tell our congress to stop exhaling CO2 they are destroying our planet!

Without either this planet would not exist!Yes,lets clean up SO2 and NO2 and improve our air- that has improved dramatically over the past years.

We need energy and if we don't get more very soon this country will be an economic disaster and defenseless!!There is no global warming and we can't stop climate changes. The sun is in charge of this along with other universal influences that are not caused by man.

I really have to wonder if the people making these decisions don't understand the wider implications, or do understand them and just don't care. Troubling either way.

The timing of this article is perfect, on the same day that George W. Bush in the State Of The Union tells us:

" And let us complete an international agreement that has the potential to slow, stop, and eventually reverse the growth of greenhouse gases. This agreement will be effective only if it includes commitments by every major economy and gives none a free ride."

The Bushliburton administration will tell us anything, but their actions and inactions tell us a lot more. What hypocracy to state that there needs to be an international agreement to remediate this environmental disaster, and then do everything in your power through your bureacratic political appointees to derail any useful initiatives.

Perhaps it is fortunate that global warming follows the laws of atmospheric physics rather than politics. Right now anyone who looks carefully can see the problem, too soon no one will be able to ignore it.

The White House is clearly stuck in denial, and anger, and with a role to lead, its actions seem close to criminal negligence – certainly criminal ignorance.

Because delayed effort now, only means increased effort in the future.
