Thank you for telling it like it is. We have been seeing this coming slowly since the 70's. The economy would revive for a bit. But, with all the businesses leaving, prices on insurances, medical care, food, vehicles all going through the roof, it was only a matter of time. Frankly we are worse off than the government will let on. And thanks to this administration and others in the past, it will be a long haul to recover this time. It can't be done over night, but they need to do something. As you said our president is in denial. I really don't think he cares one way or the other, his time is just about up. Our next president is going to have more than they can handle. But, hopefully the house and the senate, and our governors, etc. finally get off their duffs and do something for progress. We are hardly surviving here, and what is worse is we are busting our backs to make a living, and prices on everything from food to Insurances, and medical care, just keep going up. Buying prescriptions for the month can be 400 to 600 dollars, and if the health insurance doesn't kick in that is out of our pockets. Health insurance for the year was over $10,000 for 2. That is just totally wrong. We are helping other countries which is good. They are helping the starving and those with HIV, but, the citizens of the United States are struggling to survive, to keep our homes. Heck we have a car we can't even afford to insure or license anymore, and things just keep getting worse. The government has sent milk bi-products over seas, which raised the prices so high for the bi-product in the United States that a lot of veal farmers and companies producing that product have gone out of business. It is cheaper for the companies to purchase their veal from Canada, as they are subsidized. Well I could go on and on. It is terrible when we are working hard, and are forced to go to food pantries, because everything has raised in price, and we can't afford groceries, life insurance, health insurance, medical care, etc. What happened to the honest politicians that care about their country and their people. Are there any left? I sure hope so. Cause as it looks like now we are in our mid 50's, there will be no retiring ever for us. Not with the way things are, we don't have the extra money anymore to put away for retirement. I can safely say that there are a lot of people that will be in the same situation. It is too bad our government isn't for the people. This is my opinion, cause I am living it.

Bush in denial? Um, shouldn't that be war criminal delusion? Truth or subjugation? 935 ways to lie your nation into utter devastation? Torturing one's way into the annals of tyranny? However and I concede, I may just be guessing here.

Gee, um, I think you may have just landed a knockout punch! And a very powerful lightening punch at that! Nobody in this administration is going to recover from such a defining blow, much less the President, who was already supine on the floor. Thank you for telling it like it is! All of us are tired of Bush's magical thinking.
