Wow! Now, will we be able to redirect some of the monies to Oh let's say- extending the unemployment benefits for our unemployed? Or, how about some of those funds going towards the disabled Vets? Oh, wait a minute, we can't do that. We need to expand our military because we are the modern Sparta! A standing military ready to go wherever we are "needed"! Why, it only cost the Iraqi people about one, one and a half million people to get the Americans to "slave" up Fortress Embassy Baghdad. The U.S. State Department won't be able to do much in the way of "diplomacy" or other such niceties in Iraq. State won't be able to leave Fortress Embassy Baghdad. Wait a minute, that was the idea from the git wasn't it. Somebody made an armored car load of money on this squandered deal. Yes somebody did indeed! What was it that 'Deep Throat' stated and succinctly? "Follow the money!" Iraq is awash in money for Americans and those "contractors" that mysteriously appear and then disappear faster than they showed up in the first place. Corruption thy name is Babylon-on-the-Potomac.
