More on Iraq Detainee Deaths

<p><a href="../../../view/more-on-detainee">Now</a> The Washington Times <a id="uzfl" href="http://www.washingtontimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080130/NATION/564311001/1002">picks up</a> on the Army’s investigation into soldiers from 2nd Brigade Combat Team of the 1st Infantry Division slaying Iraqi detainees that we <a href="../../../view/killing-iraqi">reported</a> on Monday. Sara A. Carter of the <i>Times</i> advances the story by learning that at least one group of killings under investigation took place in Rashid, southwest of Baghdad.</p>

I’ve been told the name of an enlisted soldier who’s allegedly a target of the investigation. But I will not publish that name until I confirm that information. More on this to come.</p>
