Without Objection
Thursday, January 08, 2009 at 2:30 pm
The House and Senate confirmed President-elect Barack Obama and Vice President-elect Joe Biden’s 365-173 Electoral College win with no objections, confirming what some Republican staffers—their offices occasionally buffeted by complaints from Obama conspiracy theorists—said yesterday. It was the first protest-free ceremony of its kind since 1997, as Democrats rose to protest the Ohio vote count in 2005 and the Florida count in 2001.
Some Obama “Birthers” squealed in pain. That was predictable.
Before they conduct that count, they must investigate whether Barack Obama is Constitutionally eligible to be president which means they must vett (sic) him to see if he is a natural born citizen. This is the last backstop we the people have before we enter into a Constitutional crisis.
The Obama “birth” scam has been great traffic and fundraising bait for some far-right web sites. World Net Daily, the site that publishes Swift Boat author Jerome Corsi — who also wrote a controversial, factually-challenged book sliming Obama — is already looking past this final confirmation of the president-elect’s victory, and offering readers the chance to pay $10 to Fed Ex the Supreme Court about more anti-Obama junk lawsuits challenging his win.

I'm not squealing in pain, the Constitution is. This is the first time that a Presidential wanna be never bothered to show a vault birth certificate to prove his natural born status. It's not just conspiracy, it's truth.

So much for the constitution. Maybe, the Supreme Court will finally step up (they are reviewing cases Jan 9th, 16th, and 23rd). Don't hold your breath.

The next great conspiracy theory:
The Obama administration is planning on removing one of the faces on Mt. Rushmore and replacing it with President Obama's face.
It's not like I made that up. I actually heard it on the local talk radio station… from the host, not some nutjob caller.

Obama can't be POTUS.
Since no congressman and senator objected on 1/8/09 to Congress' count and certification of the electoral vote which would have turned resolution of Obama's eligibility issue over to Congress, rendering moot both the Berg and Lightfoot cases, Berg finally does achieve standing on the issue of actual harm, to be addressed at the 1/9/09 SCOTUS Conference on Writ of Certiorari. Obama's failure to submit evidence of his constitutional qualification for the 1/9/09 conference will mean he cannot thereafter challenge Berg's request to enjoin the 1/8/09 Congressional electoral count and certification, albeit retroactive, scheduled for SCOTUS conference 1/16/09. Moreover, Chief Justice Roberts has scheduled a full Court conference on the Lightfoot case 1/23/09 in the event there needs to be a Constitutionally mandated action, the Inauguration itself, to enjoin retroactively.

WorldNetDaily has the exclusive: Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) has joined five Republican members of Congress in demanding an investigation of the Council on American-Islamic Relation’s lobbying activities, to determine whether it should lose its non-profit status.
