Blago’s Got Tickets for the Big Day, Do You?

Are you bummed because you want to attend President-elect Barack Obama’s inauguration, but you can’t score tickets? Well, this should make you feel worse. Apparently, disgraced Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, whom you may remember was arrested last month for allegedly scheming to “sell” Obama’s vacated Senate seat, has a pair of the coveted passes.
From The Huffington Post:
As Governor, Blagojevich was given two tickets to the historic affair by the inauguration committee. But at this juncture, his office says, he’s not sure whether or not he will make an appearance.
On the upside, this might be good news for a lucky couple of well-heeled Obamaniacs in town on Inauguration Day. While Blago’s original plan to make a quick buck off of Obama’s electoral victory didn’t pan out too well, there’s always ticket scalping.
