I don't know if this has anything to do with the "I don't get no respect" phase he seems to be going through on his nomination, but hey, stranger things have happened. Feinstein, California, Hollywood. Pratfalls. Connect the dots.<br><br>Truth is none of these government jobs require more than half a brain. The guys at the top have flunkies to handle the details and get to say Yes or No once in a while. Panetta will probably be bored out of his skull after the first six months if he gets the job. Good health plan, though, and the retirement benefits are sweet.
