		<description>The only way I can make any sense out of U.S. foreign policy is to adopt the Noam Chomsky thesis that says, in effect, our foreign policy is essentially gun boat diplomacy at the direction and for the benefit of big business. Regardless of the pretty frames and clever nuances put on it by outfits like AEI, that seems to be exactly the way things have played out in the world for the last hundred years or so. Frankly, early signs seem to suggest that Obama is in that mainstream. Meet the new administration. Just like the old administration, only different.</description>
