‘New Definition of Lynching’

Pun of the day so far by Rep. Tom Davis (R-Virg.), regarding Rep. Stephen Lynch’s (D-Mass.) questioning of Clemens. Davis said Lynch asked Clemons a bunch of unfair, complicated medical questions about an MRI report that strongly insinuates Clemens took steroids.

This has become a partisan battle. Davis and Indiana’s Dan Burton have scrutinizing McNamee, while the Dems are probing Clemens. Davis began his new round of questioning thus: “Mr. McNamee let me return to you since the other side seems focused on Mr. Clemens.”

Davis is now crowing about what a great franchise pitcher Clemens was.
