Another Haaretz (Israeli) journalist to check out on his recent posts, Gideon Levy, adds some requsite balance -- and information -- to the MSM coverage on Gaza. "The Neighborhood Bully Strikes Again" points out that lashing out full-force hasn't proven successful for Israel in the past -- think Lebanon -- and in the long run, turns counter-productive. IF the goal is peace and co-habitation on the planet (and in the neighborhood) why not try diplomacy -- and perhaps international intervention?
while espousing Israel's right to defend its security, he decries his country's penchant for indiscriminant, disproportionate use of force toward this end.
However, as Americans I suggest we look in the mirror. To be silent -- while our billions of $$ for military aid to Israel massacre Palestinians and abet war crimes (destroyed 5 mosques, for example), -is to be complicit in a 21st century holocaust. Call your Senators and Representatives and hold them accountable for their action -- or non-action -- in speaking out against this atrocity.
375 Palestinians is 375 too many!

Israel pulled out of Gaza only 3 short years ago, and almost at once rockets and morters began raining down death on Israels citizens. After hundreds of these it is like jabbing a sleeping Dragon, even when it yawns and scratches you keep jabbing. There was even a stern warning only 2 days befor, but Hammas just kept jabbing that Dragon. Well the Dragon is now awake and he is pissed off and will rain fire and brimstone till the jabber no longer shows signs of life. You cant have peace when you indescriminately lob bombs into someone's back yard, and then squeel like a pig under a gate to all your poor arab brothers when Israel comes to your front portch and punchs you out ! Hammas is getting what they deserve. The Palastinian people need to see it is there leadership(Hammas) that is causing there pain and suffering and overthrough Hammas, join the leadership in the west bank and rain in everyone who thinks`jabbing the Dragon will work again.
