Maybe A 20,000-Hour Hearing?

“If you had 89 players here, I’d feel a lot better about this hearing, but we just have one,” laments Connecticut Republican Chris Shays. Shays is pointing out that 89 players were implicated in the Mitchell Report, but says the focus is on Clemens because he’s a baseball icon.

There’s probably a lot of truth to that, though Clemens is also there because he’s the only one of the 89 who has disputed the report.
