The sooner the better in my opinion. It is amazing how he has handled this entire transition so far. As a male I look up the way he handles every aspect of his life and is still above all else someone who is focused on his family and what needs to be done.

Well, Gore and his spokespeople have said repeatedly and flatly that he is not interested in serving in the new administration. Marc Ambinder says no way. Is it totally unthinkable that Obama makes an offer that Gore just can't refuse? Probably not. But all indications seem to be that it is EXTREMELY unlikely that Gore will accept anything other than an advisory role.

Supposedly these positions will be filled by Christmas, and maybe as early as this week, so I guess we'll know soon enough.

I know Gore has said that he is not personally interested in serving, but most politicians play it cool when it comes to this stuff (unless you are Sarah Palin).

Anyways, do you think that he may be offered not just an advisory role, but as energy secretary or admin of the EPA?
