<p>Thanks to The Page for giving me another chance to look at that <a id="zrqw" href="http://thepage.time.com/2008/03/12/ny-post-spitzer-to-announce-resignation-within-hours/" title="picture that’s worth a thousand words">picture that’s worth a thousand words</a> –and for pointing out this Wednesday morning New York Post story, which says Eliot Spitzer <a id="mpjw" href="http://www.nypost.com/seven/03122008/news/regionalnews/spitzer_to_resign_in_the_hour__sources_s_101629.htm" title="will announce his resignation">will announce his resignation</a> this morning.<br />

Spitzer resigned. Yeah, so one horn-dog politician gets caught doing the sly nasty and that’s a big deal. Another politician commits rank treason, murder, torture, graft, collusion, high crimes AND misdemeanors, genocide, infanticide, illegal wars of naked aggression AND, that’s no big deal whatsoever! Of course that would be one George Bush. Criminy, the grand old U.S. of freaking Amerika has it’s priorities screwed on backwards!
