Um, the letter was written by psychologists not psychiatrists. Writing as you do on intelligence matters and accustomed to the attendant research, surely you know the difference.

Spencer - You overlook Jane Mayer's Black Sites article on the New Yorker site which identifies Brennan as a supporter. And how about his feelings on rendition which Mel Goodman talks about on Democracy Now?

Brennan's role remains hidden in the shadows. I think it will remain there for good if he is appointed CIA Director. I find his business relations disturbing as well - see my writing here http://www.talkleft.com/story/2008/11/23/17025/414.

If nothing else his relationship with Analysis Corp should disqualify him from a position in the Admin's intelligence community because by their definition he is a lobbyist -

from Change.gov:

"No political appointees in the Obama-Biden administration will be permitted to work on regulations or contracts directly and substantially related to their prior employer for two years."

Analysis Corp has contracts with the government and maintains the NCTC's terrorist database, no?
