But the Democrat response of "they'll just hold everything up" or "we don't have the votes to override a veto" as justification for caving to Republican pressure is getting just as sickening as the Republicans' obvious attempts at protecting their financial industry handlers. Hopefully, the Democrats will soon get some spines installed and start doing what the public wants, regardless of Republican obstructionist tactics. I won't hold my breath 'til then, however.
