<p>The Good Neighbor Environmental Board presidential advisory committee releases today its 11th in a series of reports on environmental protection on the U.S.-Mexico border. Today’s report focuses on protecting against floods and other natural disasters along the border. Policy recommendations include better integrating response management systems, expanding binational and domestic agreements to include natural disaster response specific to the needs of the U.S.-Mexico border, capacity-building at the local, state, regional and tribal levels and enforcing building codes, zoning codes, landscape requirements, watershed management and municipal planning. <br />
