		<description>I think this should not be a big surprise.  Many are hesitant to question McCain&#039;s motives for anything he does or doesn&#039;t do. He seems to be such a nice guy, doesn&#039;t he? I urge only that voters remember an ancient admonition that things (and people) are seldom &quot;what they seem to be.&quot;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;That may very well include the &quot;nice old guy with integrity&quot; image that McCain has carefully cultured and grown over the past years.  I&#039;ve not done it myself, but I suspect that a really good dig into his entire record in the legislature might show a lot more than the &quot;image&quot; he&#039;s built for himself as &quot;the maverick&quot; to the extreme right wing of the Republican Party.  And BUSH says, it would &quot;cost TOO MUCH?&quot;  EGAD!</description>
