Not for Senator Obama to improve me, not for my pastor to improve me, but my own desire for self-improvement... with a little hope and encouragement from those around me. Somewhat like Kennedy's "what you can do for your country" speach. I just get bugged when journalists come from the point of view that any political candidate needs to do for us, while we passively sit on the couch, or they aren't sincere in what they're saying. Most of the American public, casting its opinion on Jeremiah Wright, have only know him for ten minutes through such unbiased sources as youtube or the most convenient cable news channel. When will people realize they cannot believe everything they see on TV, or the internet.
