In Minneapolis, officials are suing a real estate firm allegedly involved in flipping dozens of residential properties in a foreclosure-plagued neighborhood, according to Minnesota Monitor. In Colorado, county auditors say declining property values–and tax payments–imperil spending on basic services like road maintenance, parks and snow plowing.
