Reason’s David Weigel is reporting that <a title="Barr will announce" href="http://www.reason.com/blog/show/125825.html" id="opxw">Barr will announce</a> his exploratory committee on Saturday in Kansas City, at the Heartland Libertarian Conference.<br id="aek6" />

Despite Mike Gravel’s recent debut as a libertarian candidate, an announcement by Barr would make him the immediate frontrunner in the race for the Libertarian nomination. The party is on the ballot in 45 states.<br id="n876" />
