I used www.fmafinancial.com as well. They are located near me so I went into their office to see the place in person and see actual mods that have been fulfilled. I have talked to numerous people around town and those postings are from one of their competitors that are trying to make them look bad to better themselves. If they don't feel they can help you they will refund your money or if they know from the beginning there is nothing they can do they won't even take your money. There was a strict qualifying process I had to go thru.

!!! WARNING - Looks like fmafinancial.com is a SCAM. I was just researching the company noted in the above post fmafinancial.com and it looks like they are bad nes. Go to google and put in "fmafinancial.com" in quotes. There are a bunch of negative posts on ripoff report and complaints board. Seems they are a phone room with a history of scamming people in timeshare through bluebayadvisors.com and timesharetraderusa.com

It is frustrating to read about those who got into trouble with buying over their heads, etc are going to get bailed out, but what about those who lived within their means, did their due diligence and have made all their payments on time. They get anything?

I have shopped around a few companies for loan modifications, even tried myself and was unsuccessful. A family member was having financial issues and used a company named fmafinancial.com and was successful. How difficult is it to do a loan mod on my own? I might try this or try that fmafinancial company my brother in-law used.
