jp, in response to your two posts:
The 1923 Beer Hall Putsch was a failed coup d'état attempt. Within days after the putsch, Hitler was arrested and charged with high treason. Hitler was sentenced to five years in jail. 10 years later he finally rose to power. Obama was elected by a majority of over 7 million votes. You are not just comparing apples to oranges; you are comparing apples to elephants. So therefore there is no comparison, just failed logic. At least President-elect Obama is willing to deal with our credit problems, economic failure, global warming, healthcare and ending war, which is more than can be said for the current administration.

Act one of the play is over, the election has been decided. However, we still have to get through the rest of the story that is Obama's first term. It was an exciting night for democracy, with records being set everywhere. Lets hope that enthusiasm effervesces up and we all work together over the next four years to pull ourselves out of the hole that we dug. It should never be put squarely on the shoulders of the President to make changes, changes has to come from the bottom up. Obama has the ability to energize people, more so than McCain, and it's that kind of energy we need right now, along with some fresh ideas.

OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW!
