The news speaks of disinterest in Iraq events by the public and thus less coverage. The issue of covering our soldiers once they come back to the world of work, schooling, family, the everyday events of "normal" living. That is the true issue at the heart of why we can afford to fight a war for oil. We have a throwaway society of young people, actually children still, who can be discarded under the NCLB act and also as they get older under the 'serve and be discarded' role they fulfill as our warrior caste. So, there shall be a tremendous amount of spin by the warmongers as to why we should not provide adequate educational funding for our returning veterans and it all comes to keeping our young men and women who served on the outside looking in.
