The collective wisdom of American's is the problem. Palin can't seem to get past the first couple of brain cells in each of our heads.

I went out to dinner the other night with a good friend and colleague who
traditionally votes Republican
is a fiscal and social conservative
is a Vice President of a large company and
is a West Point graduate and former military officer.
One would think my Republican colleague would be voting for John McCain. Nope... he voted early last week for Sen. Obama. Why not his fellow Republican West Point alumnus, military hero, and the conservative standard bearer? "Palin", he said. "I couldn't believe he chose her." He stated that Palin was inexperienced and she had neither the intellect nor aptitude for the job and that her selection showed poor judgment of the worst kind. "There was no way I could vote for McCain after he chose Palin." A drag on the Republican ticket? You betcha....
