A quick follow on Sridhar’s earlier post from Pennsylvania, where McCain is touring today with Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Tom Ridge, former head of the Homeland Security Dept.
It was probably inadvertent, but in aiming to make a distinction between McCain and Obama, Ridge, at one stop, actual takes quite a stab at former boss President George W. Bush. As quoted by AFP:
There are a lot of Democrats and independent voters who are going to vote for John McCain, we know that for a fact. America is desperate for leadership.
What’s left to add to that message, aside an amen?
