It takes a big person to admit to a mistake in judgement and come back immediately to apologize. Eagleburger was thinking initially along the lines of foreign affairs experience. The irony is that as the VP candidate, Gov. Palin is more qualified to be a Presidential candidate that Obama is right now. Knowledge of foreign affairs can be a quick study for some one of Palin's intellect but being an administrator of a city government and now a state government has been a 24/7 job for her.

This guy, Obama, has done nothing of any significance just as his wife on a national broadcasted program, stated. Michelle Obama said in 2004 that he was not ready yet to run for President…..but less than 4 yrs later…. he is?? I don't think so , Tim.

No, I get the impression that he felt stupid that he had opened his mouth without taking into account how eager you all are to take anything you can get and twist it to support your side. He forgot, and thought he was talking with grownups instead of throwing meat to hyenas. Silly man.

It sounds like he realized how stupid his prior comments were. Maybe he heard from some of the millions of us normal women who identify with this successful governor.

Eagleburger was right: Palin's at the bottom of the ticket is more qualified than Obama at the top.

Got news for you, I listened to the audio of Eagleburger, and he hem hawed out every little thing to dodge saying Palin was not experienced enough to be president, Finally he just couldn't tell a lie, and said she wasn't experienced enough to lead this country, god forbid if she had to! Ya, some one has either bribed him, or has blacked mailed him! or he thought he could be hurt by saying what he really thought. I think when they get in that booth, they are going to think of old mccain and his health problem/ and than how bad a president Sarah Palin will be an take a chance on the black guy and Biden!
