It’s hardly rare that members of Congress take a break from legislative debate to honor home-town heroes, so it comes as little surprise that Rep. Sue Myrick (R-N.C.) took the podium on Tuesday to recognize professional wrestler Ric Flair, who retired last month after 36 years entertaining crowds from the squared circle.
Still, who thought we’d ever hear Flair’s trademark “Woooooo!” in the chamber of the House of Representatives? (Thank you, Sue Myrick! Thank you!)
