Ummm…I lived in Alaska 40 years ago.

Anchorage is not Palin's home town. Wasilla is, and while Wasilla is increasingly a bedroom community for Anchorage, the old aphorism, that, “It takes about 30 minutes to drive from Anchorage to Alaska,” still applies.

Anchorage is a VERY different place from the rest of alaska.

So, there are people in AK that are smart and paying attention to papers and issues. Maybe being close to Russia and claiming Russian migs landing in AK need some more research by the Governor.
