Wakefield has not conclusively been proved wrong. Julie Gerberding, the head of the CDC, appeared on Dr. Sanjay Gupta's show House Call, and explained that vaccines can trigger autism in a vulnerable subset of children.
Autism is at 1-150 in the US and 1 in 100 in the UK.
the prosecution of Wakefield has been bought by a journalist who will never have to consider vaccination of his children as he is a Homosexual.
The prosecutions case is full of holes and is falling apart as the case continues,
If the CDC had been honest about the risks then we would not have large numbers of parents no believing them.

That British doctor is more than wrong. They are in the process of pulling his medical license for:
* Taking money from patient attorneys.
* Using those same attorneys to supply “random” subjects for his studies, which is why his co-authors have retracted.
* Patenting, and refusing to disclose a quack measles remedy, whose value was boosted by the fear he created.
