ANCHORAGE, Alaska — As part of her reformer persona, when Gov. Sarah Palin took office in 2006, she dumped a state-owned jet that her predecessor used to fly around the state, first trying to sell it on Ebay, but ultimately selling it at a loss to an individual buyer.
It looked as if she’d be flying commercial for all her travel needs. A woman of the people.
But it turns out that she just used a different jet for much of her travel. Palin flew on the Dept. of Public Safety’s jet. The governor’s flights accounted for 20 percent of the jet’s usage, according to a chart obtained by MSNBC’s Deepbackground.

Palin’s husband, Todd Palin, complained in his Troopergate statement that the jet was not being made available enough for the governor. The AP reported yesterday that the old plane was often out for repairs.
Maybe she should have just hung onto that first jet after all.

Palin is just a silly, poorly educated, baby machine with boundary and entitlement issues. Thank God the US public are smart enough to see through her demagogy

Liar, liar. Palin, you left out some very important details. Is that what you're “small town values” and “Christian” upbringing produce? You complete and total hypocrite. A jet is a jet. While you jet around and spend $150 thousand dollars on new clothes for the convention, you, Ms. Caribou Barbie, have the nerve to call Obama an elitist? WTF? Meanwhile, you charge the Alaskan taxpayers a nightly per diem to stay IN YOUR OWN HOUSE!!? And charge the state for your children's travel to boot. Ah yes, a woman of ethics and small town values. My eye.

Well actually…….a jet is not always a jet. In this case the plane in question seems to be a Beech King Air which is a turbo-prop. It's a fantastic plane, but it's propeller driven, and not as deluxe a ride as a jet.

It's not that a governor of a state the size of Alaska doesn't need air transportation, it's the lies and just plain old bear shit that she puts out.

You do women hate other women that are hotter that them? I never understood that, all the fat lazy american women just hated her for no reason, because of the africa thing? Thats stupid alot of people would mess up if cameras were in their face. Look Obama is already making bad bad mistakes he picked grandhome gov. of michigan for his economic advisior. Well she completely wrecked the state of michigan in 8 years she ran all the big companies out. Those are the good decisions he is making. SERVED YOU CRATS
