Julia Child knew how to meld butter with duck fat to yield a perfect interplay of textures. She also knew how to kill Nazis. Yes, that’s right: the woman who Mastered The Art Of French Cooking was a spy during World War II, part of an intelligence ring operated by the pre-CIA Office of Strategic Services.

This is news? Come on folks, anyone who knew anything about Julia knew she was a spy…decades ago. This speaks more to the age of the reporters than to the knowledge of the general population, which skews older. You need to do some research.
