Petraeus says to just say no on Afghanistan’s drug trade. Well, no he doesn’t — he says we need to provide something else for Afghan farmers to grow. That’s a pretty stark contrast to the current administration policy of poppy eradication and… not much else. Sen. John Warner (R-VA) seems a little less than pleased that Petraeus didn’t take a stronger stand for eradication.
