Is Odierno Even In This Hearing?

Yeah, yeah, Petraeus is the rock star. But  there has been practically not a single word spoken by Ray Odierno, and he’s going to be the Iraq commander. Kind of an important job, you know?

Odierno finally says, in response to a question from Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK), that the Iraqi Army is… improving. "We are seeing consistent improvement in these areas." OK, but what’s his post-surge strategy going to be? Does he have one? Is he solving a su-do-ku puzzle right now? I don’t blame him for wanting to ignore Inhofe ("You have Eritrea, right down in there, on the water") but come on.
