Sounds less like an adult questioner than a self-centered adolescent with an agenda, posing endless hypotheticals and assumptions to reach his predetermined conclusion. Most adults eventually respond to such timewasters with something like Odierno did – Ok, stipulate all you want, have it your way, I've got too many adult matters going on to keep dealing with you!

Senator Webb has been around and knows what is going on in the military and what is needed for a strong American National Security.

Two questions about him.

Is he good enough to get past the military/industrial/government complex and work not for the complex but for the American people? It sure looks like it.

Would he be willing to become Obama's running mate?

Not as easy to answer. The man is an alpa male make no mistake. But I think he has in the past and will if called upon, do so now.
