Well an abortion is a homicide quite clearly. If fetal homicide laws definea child in utero at any stage of development as a person (and many do) and the Unborn Voctims of Violence Act recognizes the rights of children in uterao at any stage of development as people with human rights, then an abortion is a homicide. Now, what justifies allowing a premeditated homicide just because a woman wants to kill? Why would a civilized society allow such madness? The fact is that pregnancies related to rape and/or incest are less than 1% of abortions performed, so lets not veer off into some miniscule exception, lets discuss the real issue. That is women killing people for convenience. The pregnancies are the result of women engaging in voluntary behaviors with the known risk of becoming pregnant. The pregnancies were all PREVENTABLE 100%! Once the child in utero exists, it should be societies job to protect the least among us from those who would harm or kill them and have a voice and far more power.

In the article there was a reference to “post abortion syndrome” and higher rates of mental illness following an abortion, but there is one other major concern which can follow a person who has had an abortion and that is the increased risk of breast cancer.
If you have any doubt about that, you might want to investigate why the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Association has previously donated a significant amount of money to Planned Parenthood.

God is in complete charge of this great universe, not mortals like you and I, and He will not be mocked.

Funny, I lived in Mpls, and it has one of the largest (at one time – the largest) groups of Pagans and Gays living there and saw little of this kind of behavior unless it came out of Minnetonka and Michelle Bachmann’s mouth. I have nephews who have a gay father, they turned out just fine. They are both married and one has 2 children already. Bottom line. Marriage was, is, and continues to be a contract between 2 people, written to keep property in the family of a female who was not allowed to inherit property. It was much later that the church got involved when they were asked to bless the contract. This is why we still have Justices of the Peace who are legally able to perform marriages, and why any church wishing to do the same must first, and foremost,.file the legal paperwork. Frankly, I would far rather have a gay roommate than a straight one, mostly because they tend to be a lot more cleanly about themselves and a whole helluva lot more compassionate. Religion has nothing to do with marriage – nor does marriage have anything to do with zealotry and ignorance. And anyone who thinks that gays are deviates, should look into their own minds first and foremost. The God and Goddess created diversity in over 1400 species, proof enough that it was part of the plan to begin with. Ignorance is not bliss – it’s the perpetuation of stupidity and superstition.
