Marco Rubio Headed to Israel Sunday After Winning Florida Senate Race

Senator-elect Marco Rubio (R) will head to Israel on Sunday, reports Israeli news site Ynetnews:

With victory in the congressional elections less than a day old, Florida Senator Marco Rubio (Rep.) who considers himself a ‘Tea Party’ member, is set to arrive in Israel on Sunday. Rubio’s visit so soon after the election win is a move that strengthens assessments that the congress in its current form will continue where it left off – at least where Israel is concerned.

Rubio gave a speech on Israel in June to the Republican Jewish Coalition “about the need for the United States to stand with Israel without equivocation or hesitation,” criticizing the Obama administration’s handling of the U.S.-Israel relationship.

He also called on the U.S. to move its embassy to Jerusalem and said that the administration should not push Israel to a settlement freeze before negotiations. Like America, he said, Israel is an “exceptional” nation.

Neoconservatives loved it. Jennifer Rubin of Commentary called it the best speech on Israel “since George W. Bush went to the Knesset.”

His belief that the U.S. should support Israel unequivocally jibes well with the Republican Party’s foreign-policy thinking on Israel.

He doesn't only talk the talk…he also walks the walk. How refreshing!!! Finally a politician who is not afraid to defend the US and its allies without reservation or fear.

Marco Rubio, the son of refugees, embraces Israel, formed by a movement that denies another refugee people their homeland. Quaint twist of politics.

Israel was the result of a class of refugees who fled a horrible Holocaust, to establish a Jewish state on the land of the Philistines and Canaanites, who were on that land long before Abraham stepped out of Ur.

Canaan is the namesake of the Canaan, son of Ham, son of Noah. You can check this out in your Bible or Torah. Canaan, son of Ham was cursed by Noah, after he learned that Ham had seen his father naked and drunk. As was the custom of that time by the ancestor of us all, Noah, to curse the son of the one who crossed him. Noah's curse on Canaan put him as a future slave to the descendants of Shem, Semites. It was Biblical politics of the time at its worst. Now we have real politics at its worst in a land claimed by the descendants of Shem over the land settled by the descendants of Ham, and named for the son of Ham, Canaan.

The Palestinian people are trying to regain their homeland lost to the Zionists in 1948. In the process they are trying to regain human rights for all people, including Jews who lost their rights in the Holocaust, the Christians who now have lost their rights in Israel, and other people subject to loss by terrorism. The human rights movement by Palestinians rejects Islamism of Hamas and Hezbolah, but accepts liberation of Palestine by political process of democracy with liberty and justice for all in the Holy Land.

Who paid for Rubio’s trip to apartheid Israel where he swore his allegiance to a foreign nation. Did the Israelis lead him around like a little poodle on a leash? You can bet on it. Our so called leaders are a disgrace and should be tried for treason against America by putting Israel’s interests first and America’s last.
